Saddleback Church’s Women’s Ministry Begins Life’s Healing Choices Small Groups

Earlier this week, the Women’s Ministry of Saddleback Church began a Life’s Healing Choices Small Group Study. This is a huge step in making the concepts of recovery more accessible and attainable for people who would not have thought recovery was for them.

In the first week of the study over 130 women attended and after a lesson on Denial from Celebrate Recovery co-founder Cheryl Baker, they began sharing. Many of the leaders were from Celebrate Recovery and they were surprised at the instant openness and trust that the participants showed in their sharing.

The study will go on for 18 weeks with alternating lessons and testimonies, with small group sharing every week. It will be exciting to see how many of these women will attend Celebrate Recovery as a result of participating in this Small Group.
